On Saturday, January 28, Pink Room Burlesque's Franny Fluffer took her David Lynch fixation to the next level by tossing the the Miss Twin Peaks Contest at the Parkside Lounge, with a cavalcade of burly-Q beauties—including Amelia Bareparts (as the Log Lady), Gemini Rising, Foxy Vermouth, Francine, Iris Explosion, Satanica, Victoria Privates and Doctor Flux, PhD—vying for the tiara. Hosted by Schffer the Darklord (playing Regional Bureau Chief Gordon Cole, the role originally inhabited by Lynch himself), the affair was definitely a lot more fun sexy than being possessed by Killer BOB would probably be.
