In the '90s, weird-wild parties like Foxy and the (original) Cock dominated the East Village queer scene; these days, it's more about mellow, friendly dives. That's great, but a handful events in the EV are once again making the historic 'hood a little more lively. The weekly Hot Rabbit at Heathers finds a cute mix of gay boys and girls (and some straights) mixing it up to guest DJs, ranging from Whitney Day (Stiletto, Club 57) to MEN's JD Samson and Michael O'Neil.
