It was a night of vaudeville antics, burlesque gyrations and—of course—plenty of drinking on Friday, September 20, when Sideshows by the Seashore hosted the opening gala of the Coney Island Film Festival. Sideshow antics by Adam the First Real Man and Serpantina; burly-Q from Legs Malone, Kat Mon Dieu, Poison Ivory and Wae Messed; and additional go-go action from Clara Coquette and La Maia—it added up to a great evening out, and photographer Filip Wolak chronicled the action with a little help from his trusty camera.
