Frankfurt, Germany’s Robert Dietz may not have the longest discography of any techno or house artist around; he’s released perhaps a dozen singles, on Saved, Cécille, Be Chosen and the mighty Cadenza label, since first hitting the scene in the late ’00s. But quality trumps quality, and his productions tend to hit the sweet spot between esoteric deepness and dance-floor sensuality. The same could be said for his DJ sets, as you can find out in person when he plays the Endless party at Cielo on Friday, March 29. In the meantime, here’s a Dietz mix of electronic thumpery to tide you over.
