Tonight's gathering brings in Anthony "Shake" Shakir, an unsung hero of the Detroit scene whose first solo outing was on 1988's seminal compilation Techno! The New Dance Sound of Detroit; he remains an absolutely phenomenal producer and DJ. Ital, performing live, is the avant-rock dude turned dance-music producer who's been working the territory between bass, house and the indescribable for the past few years.
