Daniel Pineda and Asma Maroof, together known as L.A.'s Nguzunguzu, squeeze dance-music designs into various templates, creating sounds that shift and shimmy in unexpected ways; the pair is playing tonight in support of the new Skycell album on the Fade to Mind label. Headliner L-Vis 1990 is the innovative producer who cofounded the Night Slugs label with Bok Bok—and he's a great DJ to boot.
