The bass-house-techno-whatever shindig returns to an as-of-yet undisclosed Brooklyn location, with tonight's soiree hosting a pair of excellent out-of-town guests. Manchester, U.K.'s Rupert Taylor, better known to electronic-music fanatics as XXXY, has been producing a fab mélange of often-intricate house, bass music and Garage for a few years now—but the past couple of years have seen his star rise high, thanks to hot cuts like "Ordinary Things" and the recent "Progression." Jaw Jam is the musical moniker of the young Will DiMaggio, who's made a big splash in a short time via a handful of wondrously screwed-down R&B-goes-bass releases for labels like Symbols and Tuff Wax. The Dog & Pony Show's Paul Raffaele and Rinsed residents Dan Wender and Blacky II open. The location will be revealed to ticket holders just before the event.
