It's not fair to say he's underrated—those in the know give him props galore—but we've long wondered why Ryan Elliott isn't one of house and techno's big names; his bassline-driven tunes, released on Spectral Sound and Ostgut Ton, always hit that sweet spot between the dance floor and the soul. He'll be in the booth in Output's main room, along with Troy Pierce, formerly of Richie Hawtin's Minus label and now with the Items & Things imprint. The club's Panther Room, meanwhile, has a hot one lined up, with DJ Garth and Jenö—two fabulous spinners of eccentric, house-flavored sounds who first rose to fame via their late-’80s involvement with the U.K.'s Tonka Sound System and, a few years later, San Fran's Wicked Crew—spinning back-to-back sets, with Most Excellent Unltd.'s Paul Raffaele lending top support.
