Time Out says

One of New York's most authentic underground parties celebrates its 12-year anniversary at Output. The Bunker was born in 2003 after the Polar Bear Club ended its three-year run. While the party first experienced a slow start, things picked up in 2004, when equally music-obsessed fans, friends and family started coming together. In the following years, however, the Bunker experienced its share of ups and downs, with the NYPD ending a party that Matthew Dear was spinning, leading to the permanent closure of the Bunker's primary venue at the time, subTonic. The Bunker was forced to juggle multiple venues, from Luna Lounge to Galapagos to Public Assembly and 285 Kent. In 2013, the Bunker moved to Funktion1-laced Output. Since then, parties have been thrown at Bossa Nova Civic Club and Trans Pecos, as well. This night celebrates the Bunker's 12-year journey to its current state of success, organizing some of the most memorable techno parties in the last decade of New York nightlife. Techno veteran DBX (a.k.a. Daniel Bell) plays live, with support from Rrose (Euax) and the Bunker's own artists, Derek Plaslaiko and Bryan Kasenic. John Tejada (Palette, Kompakt) and Bunker superstar-DJ Mike Servito join in the Panther Room, with plenty more support in the Stilton House as well. To celebrate, the Bunker is offering free entry before midnight with R.S.V.P. as a way of giving back to the community.
