Bad news: Today marks the end of the summer's excellent run of Warm Up parties. Good news: what a lineup! Atoms for Peace, of course, is the supergroup headed up by Radiohead's Thom Yorke and the Red Hot Chili Peppers' Flea; we're not a hundred percent sure, but we're thinking that Yorke himself will be one of AFP decksmiths. Rustie makes swooning synth music for the Warp label; Tri Angle's Holy Other recently released a debut album, With You, full of ghostly, draggy electronics; the London-based Estonian artist Maria Minerva's sounds are swirling and sensual; and NYC vet Justin Strauss is simply one of the best and most fun DJs around.
