Bad news, comedy nerds: Delocated comes to a close this week. To mark the final episode of this this hilarious show—which, in our not-terribly-humble opinion, straddles the line between utterly stupid and utterly brilliant better than anything else on TV—we caught up with creator Jon Glaser at the shooting location for Delocated's Russian Social Club. Glaser, one of TONY’s 50 funniest New Yorkers, addressed coming up with his character, "Jon" (a "dick" of a dad in the Witness Protection Program), as well as the perks of shooting exclusively in NYC alongside fellow Gotham-based comedians like Eugene Mirman, Todd Barry and Janeane Garofalo. The Park Slope-based scribe also talked about his recent acting turns on Girls and Parks and Recreation, and his move behind the camera for the Cake Shop–set music video of Bob Mould’s “Star Machine.”
The series finale of Delocated premieres March 7 at 12:30am on Adult Swim.
