David Gordon's The Matter, which is based on Eadweard Muybridge's photos of nudes in motion, was first mounted 1972 with a cast of 40 dancers. For the Platform 2012: Judson Now performance of the work, The Matter/2012, Gordon will pair the original movement with newly staged sections.
