Jennifer Lacey + Sébastien Roux

As part of Danspace's Platform 2014—dedicated to the work of DD Dorvillier—longtime Dorvillier collaborator Jennifer Lacey performs persistence of a dance held in objects. In the piece, Lacey reuses the blue bucket that appears in Dorvillier's 2005 piece No Change or "freedom is a psycho-kinetic skill." Electronic composer Sébastien Roux joins the bill with Inevitable Music #2, inspired by Sol LeWitt. The artists will follow the performance with a discussion.
