In "Some sweet day," a series co-organized by Ralph Lemon in conjunction with the Museum of Modern Art, six dance artists pair up for performances in the atrium. Programs showcase Steve Paxton's Satisfyin Lover (1967) and State (1968) with Jérôme Bel's The Show Must Go On; Faustin Linyekula's What Is Black Music Anyway…/Self-Portraits, featuring music by Flamme Kapaya and Hlengiwe Lushaba, with Dean Moss's Voluntaries,a collaboration with the artist Laylah Ali; and Deborah Hay's Blues with Sarah Michelson's Devotion Study #3.Programming also includes a two-day interstitial performance by Kevin Beasley in I Want My Spot Back.
