As part of BAM's Next Wave Festival, the choreographer William Forsythe presents his company in Sider. The work is set to the audio soundtrack from a filmed version of a 16th-century play along with additional music by Thom Willems; it features dancers moving to private recordings sourced from headphones. In the work, Forsythe relates the rhythmical inflections of Elizabethan theater to those found in classical dance.
