Trajal Harrell

Harrell offers the first installment, "The Practice," of his new performance inquiry into Butoh, In one step are a thousand animals. The choreographer's research centers around the life and work of Butoh founder Tatsumi Hijikata in this initial segment. Harrell sheds light on his process in six two-hour segments, in which he will be joined by musicians, composers, DJs, singers and dancers.
