Vanderbilt Avenue's transformation from a run-down Prospect Heights thoroughfare to a nightlife destination has been underway for years. But it wasn't until the arrival of this hopping restaurant and bar from Michelin-starred chef Saul Bolton that we realized just how far it had come. Whether you're there for the craft beers, the thoughtful cocktails, a well-chosen wine or one of Bolton's eclectic small plates—like luscious salt cod on grilled bread, or fat mussels in a spicy coconut broth—one thing's for sure: This 'hood is firmly on the eating-and-drinking map.
