The spread of Danny Meyer's restaurants throughout the city could be compared to Ancient Rome's historic expansion—minus the slavery and slaughter of innocents, of course. It's only fitting, then, that his latest fine-dining venture would be a love letter to Roman cooking. In the kitchen, chef Nick Anderer—who shares Meyer's passion for the Eternal City—doles out honest, rustic dishes, like meltingly tender lamb braised in Frascati wine, and the namesake rosemary-scented roasted suckling pig.
