Week of March 25-31

Kenmare
Though their clubby backgrounds indicate otherwise, Paul Sevigny (the Beatrice Inn) and Nur Khan (Rose Bar) insist that this venture is a straight-up restaurant. With Joey Campanaro (the Little Owl) in the kitchen, we’re inclined to believe them. His Mediterranean-American menu will include dishes like basil gnocchi with short-rib ragout. 98 Kenmare St between Cleveland Pl and Mulberry St (212-274-9898)

D.O.B. 111
Michael “Bao” Huynh’s ever-expanding empire now includes this small eatery, where Huynh and chef de cuisine Jennifer Hill (Bar Bao) will cook classic French dishes with a Vietnamese twist. Look for items like beef carpaccio enhanced with lemongrass. Plan to bring your own booze until the liquor license clears. 115 St. Marks Pl between First Ave and Ave A (212-228-2500)

Fatty Cue
The eternally delayed Asian ’cue restaurant from Zak Pelaccio (Fatty Crab) is finally opening. Smoked meats from pitmaster Robbie Richter (Hill Country) will be paired with salads featuring Malaysian and Southeast Asian flavors. 91 South 6th St between Bedford Ave and Berry St, Williamsburg, Brooklyn (718-599-3090)

The 5 & Diamond
Peripatetic chef Ryan Skeen (Resto) has taken his talents to an intimate 35-seat restaurant in Harlem. Skeen will reintroduce the flap-meat--and--beef-cheek burger that first gained popularity at Irving Mill, along with more upmarket dishes like rabbit-and-ratatouille sausage with spaetzle. 2072 Frederick Douglass Blvd (Eighth Ave) between 112th and 113th Sts (646-684-4662)
