Uber, everyone's favorite on-demand taxi service, is no stranger to quirky gimmicks. In the past, the company offered free rides to stranded G Train riders and even delivered ice cream to New Yorkers. But this week, it's bringing you something a little more practical: new shoes.
UberRUSH, the company's newish messenger service has partnered with Cole Haan to offer same-day delivery service on shoes purchased via the Cole Haan website today through Thursday September 25. But unlike the complimentary rides for G Train peeps, this offer isn't free. It costs $10 (in addition to the price of your new kicks). But if you really want that pair of Cole Haan Selma pump (pictured, $268) right this minute, this is a good option. The shoes will only be delivered in Manhattan. So, sorry other boroughs.
