Mad Ripple, has spent years both in and documenting the scene—whatever scene you care to mention. But he’s always been drawn to songwriters, the kind who put your innermost dreams and fears to music in a way that makes you see everything as new again. Songs and stories will be traded like the hard currency they are at this weekend stand. Thursday’s stars—and they are that—include Marce Hall (Railroad Jerk), Ambrosia Parsley (Shivaree), Lianne Smith (Safety Last) and Fiona McBain (Ollabelle); Friday welcomes Brenda Kahn, Michael Morris and Jeaneen Gauthier; Saturday features Stook!, Dan Israel, John Swardson and Brianna Lane.
