Ty Segall

Terrific San Francisco songwriter Ty Segall typically follows a timeworn formula, in which welcoming pop melodies come layered in antisocial fuzz. The prolific garage-glam-psych mastermind hits Webster Hall with his band, the Muggers, for a two-night stint behind the release of a newie, Emotional Mugger. The album's first single was accompanied by a video of the band wearing creepy-as-hell baby masks, so, be ready for that. CFM opens Sat 27; the Men and Dion Lunadon (of Place to Bury Strangers) play Sun 28.
