Description
This 90-plus-work retrospective celebrates the prolific Japanese artist’s affinity for blending high art and mass culture, evident in works like Miss Ko2 (1997), a sculpture of a leggy anime-style waitress, and Tan Bo Puking—a.k.a. Gero Tan (2002), a painting of a snaggletoothed psychedelic monster with polychromatic ooze spilling out of his mouth ($10, seniors and students $8, children under 12 free).
