The trio’s debut full-length, Terrific Seasons, is crammed with urgent postpunk that should satisfy anyone with a jones for that arty, skronky No Wave vibe. On its latest release, Let’s Be Friends, Brooklyn’s Mixel Pixel offers sunny, bubbly indie pop filtered through kitchen-sink psychedelic effects.
