This repugnant, homophobic tale of a cop investigating a series of gay-related murders is the nadir of Al Pacino’s career. (It’d be the nadir of Friedkin’s, too, except he went on to make the killer-tree flick The Guardian.) The director will speak after the 7pm screening.
