Dr. Wu’s magical invention (an early prototype for the television) has the all-star residents of the titular hotel up in arms. W.C. Fields does what he always does, and the George Burns and Gracie Allen bits are a nice record of their old stage act; even better is the Cab Calloway number extolling the virtues of ye olde wacky tobaccy.
