Oh, suburban young punks…why must you be so disaffected? Matt Dillon, Vincent Spano and a host of other feathered-hair teens are sick of being hassled by the Man (their hypocritical parents, the local law enforcement fascists, etc.) for playing their Cheap Trick albums too loudly. Naturally, they rebel by trapping everybody in the school auditorium during a PTA meeting. Brilliant. Trans magazine publisher Amos Mac will introduce the film, the latest presentation in IFC's ongoing "Queer/Art/Film" series.
