Time Out says

In today’s blasted carnage of an economy, it’s probably safe to assume that many people are taking up unorthodox careers, such as, say, bounty hunting, to pay the bills. Folks could learn a thing or two—or, more likely, nothing—from J.D. Trawick (Harris) and his womanizing younger brother Tucker (Kerns). These two “skiptracers” make their living by scouring Alabama for criminals who skip bail—their most recent target being the stripper-hungry redneck Rusty (Stuckey). Mendheim’s stereotypical portrayal of the South boasts some real affection, but mostly it’s just whistling Dixie.—Drew Toal
