Speed-Dating

According to Joseph A. Elmore's battle of the sexes, men are dogs---in one case nominally ("My name is Dog, and I like to bite")---and women are commitment obsessive (and mostly just plain crazy) until, inexplicably, they're not. This painfully unfunny African-American rom-com finds three Angeleno players ditching their bachelor lifestyles when they start dating the only SoCal females not earmarked as caricatures of looseness and looniness. Who knew entering a belated adulthood could be so easy---and so utterly joyless?
