The Red Balloon

Film Forum, Soho Sunday January 6 2013 11:00
Perhaps the most famous short film in cinema history, this excessively winsome Paris travelogue concerns a small child who’s followed everywhere he goes by the eponymous helium-inflated plaything. Sadly, no slingshot is handy. Also on the bill is Lamorisse's short about a boy and his horse, "White Mane" (1953).
