The Vanquished

Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), Midtown East Friday November 8 2013 19:00
Antonioni’s early film was released in some parts under the title Youth and Perversion, though only the first story of this triptych involves both. Intended to document the state of post-WWII Europe, the movie is best looked at as a dry run for the director’s later parables of urban alienation.
