Because who needs those damned books anyway, right? Terayama’s look at a lonely young man weaves in plenty of countercultural flotsam, up-against-the-wall revolutionary posturing and a dollop of point-counterpoint imagery. For those viewers who can dig this scene, it’s a groovy trip.
