Cookbook Launch: L.A. Son by Roy Choi

Roy Choi—the force behind Cali-Korean BBQ truck Kogi—celebrates his new cookbook-memoir, L.A. Son: My Life, My City, My Food, at this literary fête. Cohosted by everyone's favorite food bad boy, Anthony Bourdain, the talk will be followed by an audience Q&A and a spread of bites from Momofuku Ssäm Bar, Milk Bar crack pie and Tiger beers. Proceeds will benefit the Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund and RootDown LA, an organization that teaches high-school kids about healthy food choices.
