To celebrate the publication of the I Like Pig e-book, the East Village beer haunt is welcoming swine lovers citywide for a pork-focused cook-off. Competitors will choose a cut from local producers like Fleisher's, Dickson's and the Meat Hook, and prepare a pig-filled dish to impress a panel of judges, including some of the Pig Island toques featured in the e-book. Those not looking to compete can come watch the smackdown and, better yet, taste entrants' dishes, with a portion of ticket proceeds benefiting Edible Schoolyard NYC.
