The brainy culinary blowout packs intensives, tours and workshops into a weekend. Highlights include “Cooking for Sustainability,” led by Purple Kale Kitchenworks’ Ronna Welsh, and "Break It Down: Sheep," in which butcher and author Adam Danforth (Butchering Beef) will instruct on breaking down a whole sheep. Field trips are also in store: Author Leda Meredith (The Locavore’s Handbook) helps guests find edible weeds in Central Park during “Urban Foraging: Wild Edible Plants in NYC.”
