New Amsterdam Market: Ice Cream Sunday

Hit up the outdoor artisanal market’s third annual ice-cream social, where 12 vendors—including Steve’s Ice Cream, the Bent Spoon, La Newyorkina and Van Leeuwen—will offer up to four seasonal flavors each. General admission ($25, advance $20) begins at 1pm and includes eight minicones; ice-cream fiends who show up at noon can purchase ten minicones ($35, advance $30). Fill them with baby scoops of lemon verbena–crème fraîche, sassafras or a returning favorite, hay. Vendors will also be selling full-size portions of your favorite flavors ($3–$6).
