Recently, New York has seen a flood of oceanic haunts. Now, licensed captain Kelli Farwell (Gramercy Tavern, Rye) takes the trend to the illogical extreme with an actual boat restaurant, The Water Table. The Maine native will hit the harbor’s not-so-roaring seas, serving New England–style fare (lobster rolls, clam chowder, blueberry cake). Docking in Greenpoint and sailing the New York Harbor twice nightly, the Revolution—a repurposed 1944 Navy yard patrol craft—will host up to 50 passengers for two-hour dinner cruises, as well as weekend brunches and Friday-afternoon oysters. All aboard! India St Pier at West St, Greenpoint, Brooklyn (917-499-5727, thewatertablenyc.com). Early September.
