It’s a chili lover’s dream—the folks behind this fiery annual feast will erect a 500-foot concourse of the spicy stew, packed with entries from some of the city’s best pot-stirrers. More than 20 restaurants—including Delaney Barbecue, Perla, Salvation Taco and Talde—duke it out for the coveted 2013 Golden Chili Mug. Exercise your taste buds with samples of the hearty bowls and unlimited Sam Adams (Boston Lager and Alpine Spring), while tapping a toe to a honky-tonk set from country band the Dixons. Ticket proceeds will fund Food Systems Network NYC, an organization working to prevent hunger.
