The Shanty
RIP, Prohibition. Eighty years ago, Congress nixed the law, restoring our right to booze-fueled shindigs, like this fete hosted by the New York Distilling Company. The happy hour—which doubles as a second-birthday bash—will kick off with an hour of $2 martinis made with the distiller’s Dorothy Parker American Gin, followed by $10 whiskey cocktails. Complimentary snacks include charcuterie, cheese and pickles.
