In the lead-up to her restaurant Birds & Bubbles' opening, City Grit founder Sarah Simmons is cooking up a Southern repast. The multicourse meal, featuring warm-weather ingredients such as corn, squash, tomatoes and okra, should make the wait for Simmons's LES fried chicken eatery feel a little shorter.
