To close out the Festival of Lights, Porsena’s Sara Jenkins teams up with cookbook author Louisa Shafia (The New Persian Kitchen) and Israeli food expert Naama Shefi (the Kubbeh Project pop-up restaurant) for a three-course Middle Eastern feast. The comfort-food-loving trio will showcase dishes from Shafia’s tome, such as latkes with a tamarind-date chutney, lamb meatballs with mint and garlic, and fish poached in olive oil.
