The annual celebration of all things booze kicks off tonight, taking over three boroughs with nearly 100 events in restaurants, bars, hotels and even comedy clubs. Though many events are sold-out, tickets are still available for some seriously cool happenings over the next few days. Take your pick and get 'em while you still can!

VIP access to the Gala at the New York Public Library (May 9): At tonight's kickoff party, you can expect freely flowing cocktails, all-you-can-eat nibbles and an all-girl vodka bar powered by Pam Wiznitzer (The Dead Rabbit and Clover Club). VIP ticket holders get in at 9pm, one hour before general entrance, which gives you enough time to get a head start on all your friends. But there's enough for everyone: No less than 25,000 cocktails will be poured.

Havana Night at the Garret (May 11): Classic rum concoctions get an inventive twist at this West Village bar, where the cocktail crew will mix up Caribbean drinks like the Tobago Stroll (with orange juice, lime and St. Germain) and the Carib Sing (with pineapple, coconut cream and Grand Marnier). The bash is presented by Time Out New York and the MCC, and features a gallery of Cuban art and lively tunes from the island. Get your exclusive tickets here.

Swig & Swine at Union Pool (May 11): Join a group of bartenders as they experiment with pigs and punch at this fund-raising event by the Bon Vivants (a San Francisco–based hospitality and philanthropy company). Live music and games complete the celebration for these spirits pros who have been volunteering at the KIPP charter-school organization.

A Big Easy Afternoon at Evelyn Drinkery (May 11): Evelyn's Christian Sanders welcomes Chris Hannah (French 75) and Jordan Bushnell (Hennessy) to the East Village watering hole for an afternoon of NOLA-inspired sipping.

The Most Utterly Peculiar Garnish Challenge at Extra FANCY (May 12): Witness a band of bartenders get creative with the garnish of choice: the Coveted Golden Cucumber. You won't have to try your luck with the knife—just sip on Hendrick's and snack on eats courtesy of Extra FANCY while you cheer on your favorite contestant.

Time Out Supper Club at Aldea (May 13): Chef George Mendes celebrates his Michelin-starred eatery's fifth anniversary with Time Out New York, offering a five-course Portuguese dinner featuring house-cured cod and duck breast with red-corn grits. The drinks are also Portugal-inspired, like a white port-and-tonic and a Setubal sling.

Salvation Taco's Rooftop Party (May 13): The fiesta starts with a chat on Mexican spirits with Ron Cooper (Del Maguey mescal), David Grapshi (Tequila Siete Leguas), Carmen Villarreal (Tequila Pueblo Viejo) and Steve Olson (a.k.a. "The Wine Geek"). After the talk, head to the open cocktail bar, hosted by Del Maguey's Misty Kalkofen.

Cocktails & Comedy at the Stand (May 13): We guarantee the stand-up comedy routines at this Gramercy club will be twice as funny when paired with cocktails. On the menu: the New Raj (Bombay Sapphire East, basil, cucumber and lime) and a Sidecar made with Dusse Cognac.
