Most kids wait until they’re done with school to join the family business, but Chelsea residents Brittany and Cailin Stollar have been a part of their mom’s clothing label for children, Igloo Island, from the beginning. “We’re based at home, so it was easy for the girls to get involved,” says Sandra Stollar, who graduated from FIT and worked in the garment industry prior to launching the rainbow-bright line for girls ages four to 14 in August 2007 (she hopes to launch a boys’ line next year). “Working on the clothes is like our family game night,” says Cailin, 8, who also has a recurring role on FX Network’s Rescue Me.
