Feel like your IQ took a nose-dive after labor day? At the Brooklyn Public Library’s Babies & Books programs, parents can page through smarty-pants novels while tots (ages newborn to 18 months) listen to stories and learn songs. After the kiddie fare concludes, share your favorite passages from Eat, Pray, Love—after all, infants crave your voice more than “age-appropriate” content. Landmark Sunshine’s Rattle & Reel
Bet you can’t remember the last time you saw a movie in an actual theater. Well, grab your tyke, because you’re both welcome at Landmark Sunshine’s Rattle & Reel series. At 11am on Wednesdays, caregivers pay regular admission and babies get in for free to special screenings of new flicks. Metropolitan Moms
When your life is all baby, all the time, it’s easy to feel disconnected from Art and Culture. Here’s a group that will get you and your wee one out of the house and on private stroller-friendly tours of museums, galleries and city neighborhoods. Sign up for a four-class art series at the Metropolitan Museum or a three-part walking tour of historic downtown sites.
