The Game of Life: Twists & Turns
Testers Andrew, 10, Casey, 8, and Renee, 7, Marlboro, NJ
Premise Choose a career—anything from rock star to teacher—at the game’s start, and then hit the electronic “lifepod” to reach a slew of personal and professional milestones.
Learning curve Prep time was a breeze, but comprehending the game’s supposed finance lessons was another story. With credit cards instead of paper money, paying bills was painless; in real life, though, that’s seldom the case.
Entertainment value Getting to use a credit card was a blast for these burgeoning shoppers. Even after playing a few 40-minute games, the kids were still up for another round.
Sound bite Casey: “I bought the economy car so I would have money left over to buy something else.”
Grade B+

I wish you could search by age level. I'm gonna be nannying a 3 year old and there are fewer things, so it takes awhile to even find something in his age range. Anything to help with that? Any tips?
