Payday: 30th Anniversary Edition
Tester Aden, 8, Babylon, NY
Premise Manage your paycheck from month to month by making deals, taking out loans and paying bills. The player with the most money at the end wins.
Learning curve Aden couldn’t quite grasp the value of the huge bills ($500, $1,000), and his mom wasn’t a fan of “win the lottery” as a viable income source, but the eight-year-old still picked up some smart saving strategies.
Entertainment value Set up the game before your kids see the box; Aden was initially turned off by the boring packaging.
Sound bite Aden: “Daddy, you should play.... You need money.”

I wish you could search by age level. I'm gonna be nannying a 3 year old and there are fewer things, so it takes awhile to even find something in his age range. Anything to help with that? Any tips?
