Camp Broadway Theatre Programs

• Shining Stars (ages 6 to 8). 9am–1:30pm. $725.
• Camp Broadway (ages 9 to 11). 9am–5:30pm. $1,150.
• CB2 (ages 12 to 14). 9am–5:30pm. $1,150.
Broadway hopefuls receive instruction in voice, dance, movement and singing. Kids take a field trip to Times Square, have lunch with professional performers and check out a Broadway show—in addition to rehearsing for their own musical production, which they perform for friends and family. Class sizes range from 25 to 100 campers, depending on the age range.
Camp Kids ’n Comedy

Whether your young smart aleck is looking to make a career move (Kids ’n Comedy has spawned a handful of Nickelodeon stars!) or simply audition for the school play, this funny farm promises to build both comedic and theatrical skills. Kids devote half of each day to stand-up, creating and perfecting their own routines; the rest of their time is spent in a variety of workshops, including comedy writing, improv and audition technique. Ages 10 to 14.
SummerArts

This five-week camp, now in its 12th year, is designed for young artists interested in building a portfolio and studying the connections between art and Jewish culture. Campers work on mixed media, painting, video production and ceremonial arts. They’ll also visit local artists’ studios and tour several cultural institutions in the city. Participants are separated by age group. For kids in grades 7 through 12.
