Eldridge Street Passover Festival
Sun 13 1–4pm. Museum at Eldridge Street, 12 Eldridge St between Canal and Division Sts (212-219-0888, eldridgestreet.org). Subway: B, D to Grand St; F to East Broadway. $12, seniors, students and children under 19 $8. Families explore the Lower East Side’s newly renovated three-story temple and help rid the building of forbidden bread during a chometz hunt (chometz is the Hebrew word for flour mixed with water, a no-no for observant Jews during Passover week). Art activities and kosher-wine tastings are also slated. All ages.
