Passover events for kids in NYC

Take the Pesach celebration beyond the seder this year.

Family Passover Program: The Mystery of the Disappearing Afikoperson
Sun 13 11am–1pm. Museum of Jewish Heritage: A Living Memorial to the Holocaust, 36 Battery Pl at 1st Pl (646-437-4202, mjhnyc.org). Subway: R to Whitehall St; 1 to South Ferry; 4, 5 to Bowling Green. Advance tickets $15, children under 12 $10, family with up to two adults and two children $40; at the door $20, children under 12 $10, families with up to two adults and two children $45. The story made campily famous by Charlton Heston in The Ten Commandments will be related through song, dance, dramatic re-creation of scenes and even craft projects. Then performer Jacob Stein ups the entertainment ante with a puppet musical that explains the significance of the seder. All ages.
