Celebrate Mother’s Day in New York

From pampering parties to sweet serenades, activities around the city give moms the recognition they deserve.

Thirsty? Stop by one of our favorite kid meccas for an oh-so-fruity, decidedly adult beverage. Bonus: It’s on the house. Ages 21 and up for mimosas, play space is all ages.
FREE Windows “Portraits of Mom” Studio Through Sun 11 11am–6pm. 89 Montague St at Hicks St, Brooklyn Heights (portraitsofmom.com). Subway: N, R to Court St; 2, 3, 4, 5 to Borough Hall.
This Mother’s Day celebration doubles as an excuse to be primped and spoiled. Moms receive free makeovers while their kids play games and munch on snacks, and then the whole gang poses for a family portrait by a professional photographer. The photos will be loaded onto an on-site computer so participants can make their own prints on the spot. All ages.
